Every year the Parent Association works in fundraising to provide necessary resources and continue improvements of our school and learning opportunities for our children. The Parent Association Fee for the 2019-2020 School Year will be $5.00. Please fill out the envelope and return with your membership of $5.00 which can be paid in cash or check payable to PS14 Parent Association. Please also consider donating funds, as 100% of your donation going directly to activities for the entire student body!
Send in your membership dues! We invite you to become involved and to make this school an even better place for all the children. Whether you choose to volunteer, assist as parent leaders or simply send supplies for a class activity, your help is important and appreciated. You can use this website as a resource to find information on our events as well as volunteer opportunities.

The Parent Association is looking for new members!
Dear parents and guardians of The Fairview School 14,
We are currently seeking nominations for Candidates to hold CPAC Officer positions for the 2019 – 2020 school year! There are four CPAC positions available, you may apply for all four positions.
CPAC members are responsible for: Members have the responsibility to: attend all PA meetings (the third Tuesday of each month from 7:00 – 8:00); to identify concerns and issues to be discussed during SLT meetings; to review minutes and give feedback; chair and/or serve on team sub-committees; and to communicate effectively with their constituent group; to handle the fundraising candy sale in the fall and the spring of the school year.
Nominations for Candidates to the Chancellors Parent Advisory Council are due by May 31, 2019. If you would like to be considered for membership on the CPAC, please fill out the attached form below and return to the main office by May 31, 2019.
A vote by ballot for candidates of the Chancellors Parent Advisory Council will take place in the main office of the main building from June 3, 2019 through June 10, 2019. The new officers of the CPAC will be announced at the June 18 PA meeting.

Dear Parents,
We are currently seeking nominations for Parent Members to the School Leadership Team for the 2019 – 2020 school year! There are five Parent Member positions to be filled. Team members are responsible for: participating in the development and review of our school’s Comprehensive Educational Plan (CEP); ensuring that the school budget is aligned to support the CEP; working collaboratively with other team members including the principal and teacher members by sharing their ideas and concerns and listening to the ideas and concerns of others; engaging in collaborative problem-solving and solution-seeking that will lead to consensus-based decisions that meet the needs of all students; sharing the views of their constituency with the team; and engaging in conflict resolution processes when necessary. In addition, team members have the responsibility to: attend all team meetings (the third Thursday of each month from 2:45 – 5:45); to identify concerns and issues to be discussed during SLT meetings; to review minutes and give feedback; chair and/or serve on team sub-committees; and to communicate effectively with their constituent group. Nominations for Parent Members to the School Leadership Team are due by May 31, 2019. If you would like to be considered for membership on the School Leadership team, please fill out the attached form below and return to the main office by May 31, 2019. A vote by ballot for candidates of the School Leadership Team will take place in the main office of the main building from June 3, 2019 through June 10, 2019. The following is an agenda for our next PA meeting: We will be recruiting new members for our SLT Team. The application are open and the elections will be made the same day. We will be introducing all new memebers at our last PA meeting in June. Our last PA meeting will be held June 18, at 7:00 pm . As always thank you for your participation.
